Olivetti Lettera 36 - 36C

Hello everyone.

This is a famous Olivetti typewriter, the Lettera 36C, from the 1980s. It was the first electric typewriter produced by Olivetti, designed by Ettore Sottsass, who participated in many other Olivetti projects.

It's part of the Lettera 36 family, with the added feature of a correction tape; the final "C" actually stands for "corrector." This means you no longer need to use an eraser or eraser fluid when you make a mistake.

The Lettera 36 was also sold under other brands, with bodies designed by Mario Bellini: Underwood 478, 660, 670, and also the Brillant Electric 3000 and Robotron S20.

Here there is a video about some models of Olivetti Lettera 36 and 36C.
