Olivetti Lexikon 80
It's a mechanical office typewriter produced by Olivetti from 1949 to 1959, designed by Marcello Nizzoli.
The name Lexikon is a Greek term indicating dictionaries and collections of words.
In the video there are the main models of Lexikon 80 produced by Olivetti, from the first version called M80, to the electrical version, the Lexicon 80E.
The Lexicon 80 is an office machine, designed for intensive use. It also adopts rather innovative mechanical solutions that simplify its production.
The Lexikon 80 introduces the concept of a machine with excellent performance, but also light, very refined in design, and of a color other than black. In short, it can also integrate well with office furnishings.
In this video there are information about how to use it, and its history.
And here there is a Lexikon 80 with mathematical symbols.
In the end, here you can download a leaflet with the Lexikon 80 from the 1950s
